 Register here for the 2021 Warfighter Challenge Who: APC Pioneers and Pioneer Candidates, U.S. and friendly foreign military (to include active duty personnel, reservists, and veterans), and first responder personnel. What: Multiple events focused on pioneer and light infantry skills. Events will include a 20km ruck w/35lbs, rifle and pistol shooting, obstacle course, and others. This is not a beginner level event. When: First event begins 0530 29MAY2021. Participants can arrive as early as 27MAY2021, and are welcome to stay through 1800 on 31MAY2021. Where: Central Montana (nearest airport is Billings: BIL). You need a 4wd vehicle to reach the event site, and we encourage car pooling. Why: In order to build comradery, and to imbue and strengthen martial spirit. Greetings all, You are invited to the 2021 Warfighter Challenge. Some key changes will be incorporated this year, improvements off of the inaugural challenge based on participant and staff feedback and support. Most of those changes are going to be kept on the DL, however one I’ll share up front: This year participants will start and complete the obstacle course as a two-person team. Participants will assist each other throughout all aspects of the obstacle course, to include the shooting portions. I also strongly recommend that participants ensure they know how to tie the knots required for the U.S. Army Sapper Leader Course. A minimum gear list will be posted in the coming weeks. We also would like to solicit volunteers to serve as staff. We will be featuring a parallel challenge including only a subset of events for staff members, complete with prize, since staff will not be able to participate in every event. Worked for us anyway, and no one died in a logalanche. |

Maybe this could have helped us on the wall build?  Build a Weight Bearing Structure with the Square Lashing - ITS Knot of the Week HD Also, @Ben if it is still there can you put a paper target on the other side and shoot the log with 556? I want to see if it it goes through. |

A fellow MG owner & I were shooting up at the end of a Forest Service road a while back and on our return down the mountain encountered a freshly blown down windfall tree. We had no saw, and blew the tree apart with our MG's. 5.56, in enough quantity will blow that wall apart which is why I laugh at folks who classify trees as "cover". |

I would not have any ammo left returning from 556 MG shoot |
