Or are you saying you'd cant the top dot all the way across to my right eye from left shoulder and learn the canted hold for the situation? |

This was my second cola. I made gear improvements for Bluegrass and had a better handle on the flow of the event. I placed 10th overall and felt like i made a huge improvement from Southeast. For an inaugural event it was amazingly smooth. The prize table was off the hook! The kids cola was so cool and those kids were squared away. Special shoutout to all my Indiana hometown forum that made it. We'll bring more next year! The volunteers were top notch and really helped the new guys. Bluegrass is on my permanent Cola schedule now. |

I don’t have a good way to replicate your vision, so idk, but I’m sure there’s a way to do it. I’d start with what Slipspace said and put the red dot at 12 o’clock and see if that works. I would literally tape a red dot to the top of the scope ring before spending money on mounts and stuff. Btw, you weren’t alone. I saw a few guys struggling trying to get a sight picture trying to use dominant eye while shooting weak side. |

What a peak cola event. Atropian is going to have a really hard time topping that one. Thanks to all the sponsors, host, staff, and runners for taking the time to test your mettle. Lessons learned: - apply cat crap to nods so you can see rifle targets - 3 porta shitters is not enough lol - try not to operate off of 2-3 hours of sleep a night - Indiana is a real state with some real shooters Love you all and hope to see you at Crockett 1 during the last weekend of January. |

| Got home last night. We had a great time. Thank you to everyone involved. Everything was ran smoothly and the kids were all happy to be able to do a kids course. Thank you very much to Atropian for opening his home to us! Good people, challenging course, good food generous sponsors! The heat was pretty brutal but suffering is supposed to be a part of cola right? We stopped at Taco Bell on Saturday afternoon and ate 24 tacos and 2 nacho dips! Only about 1 taco was wasted. It ended up on the floor from the baby. Now for one of the most difficult obstacles, drying, cleaning and putting everything away… |

Certainly know that Slarti, James_Leo, and DK made it a very memorable and meaningful experience! All the Staff, Search Party, volunteers and amazing people of all ages completely helped me with understanding what it is to become a Cola Bro. The sponsors / awards tables were not expected and completely mind blowing! I'm looking at you Geissele, Combat Armory, MOA Targets, and I'm currently missing a few! Without the love and support of each and every person, this inaugural event would never have been this freaking amazing. I realized while walking the dog this morning that I had forgotten something important in my original post.... I want to say thanks to all the staff and other folks that were out looking for me while I was off on, as Atropian called it, "my own adventure". I know that I caused some people that I really care for and respect some grief and angst and the look of relief on their faces when I showed back up is proof of the love in the cola bro community... People were running around at night in heat looking for me in the woods and small gullies making calls and marshaling resources to find me. It's really an honor to be with all you folks. We may not be a cult, but we are a family. While a pimp's love is very different from that of a square, The love of the cola bros is the absolute best! |
