I use mine as a jacket liner or just a jacket. It get's too warm some times. Not multicam but, marpart, ACU or ABU. Wiggy's stuff works, the fish net top works better than I ever imagined but, does get some exotic hooker comments. |
While we're looking for one off Multicam shit, I'm looking for the oversized "poncho". It wasn't really a poncho but it was made to look like one. It's use was as a hootch/ground cover in the field, but two feet wider all around. It still had it's normal grommet locations but no hole for your head. I still have mine but it has no tag and I would like another.

It's a mom and pop shop in Utah and all their stuff is made in the USA. I have one of his ponchos and his Osni Cloak (basically a woobie that you can wear and which snaps into his ponchos). Expensive, but very well made. He also has a YouTube channel in which he demonstrates his gear on camping trips. |

Yo dog check out the VERTX recon base jacket in Multicam- Construction and materials are very similar to ATOM LT but it’s $189. If you use your mil ID to log into experticity, you can get it for about 40% off of that. Ref: I have both the ATOM Lt and the recon base. Both are good to go: I am an OCT in Germany and spend a lot of time out in the cold. ETA wild things and OR are also great options but will be more $$. I have no problem spending the $130ish for the recon base pro deal and getting it covered in mud, facepaint, sleeping in it, etc. |

I'm 87% sure I'm not in a cool enough unit to NOT catch hell for wearing that.  The smoking jacket I had at least looked like a more or less like an issued item when the CSM was across the room
