It’s a small case with a small powder charge. Being off 2/10th in a 5.56 can be an issue when you’re at the top end just the same. As for being difficult to load, I’ll tell my XL650 next time I use it for 5.7. I use an RCBS manual powder thrower to charge them with a powder through die as it’s accurate enough to keep me within 1/10th of a grain. Attached File I don’t keep a dedicated toolhead for it, as it’s just the powder and seating dies and I keep them at the correct height with lock rings. |

I really think this is a gun designed by a Swedish ex-pat for Swedish ex-pats - and anyone else who has a taste for the unusual. I don't really see it as a breakout in the lady gun space. Once they publish the manual, there will be a lot of questions answered. On 1 April, we should all call Kel-Tec CS and ask for PR57 magazines. Say there wasn't one in the box. |

 HANDS ON: Kel-Tec PR57 Compact 5.7x28mm EDC Pistol | SHOT Show 2025 I like the little "fully loaded" nub, so you know when the magazine is full without having to count rounds. I also like that the 21st round just fits in the magazine, so no need to risk pinching fingers trying to hold the +1 round in place while you drop the slide. |
