Ever since Deviant Ollum (open Communist), I have been paying more and more attention to InRange. Not in a good way. I ended up cancelling my Patreon, which when you were giving $20 a month, sorta burns a bit. It's a shame. The old West Vignettes are really good, the firearms stuff is usually top notch. I just won't support leftism after all the ills they have wished on me, my family, and my wife and child. Infosec / DEFCON - yep. Makes sense. Satanist - ok yeah whatever sure. We all have our weird beliefs. Friends with known commies - eh. Okay, keeping a dialog, I can see that. Whiteknighting leftist causes - aight, I'm out. I'm not going to pay you monthly to be preached at, or to further causes that openly wish harm on me, the firearms community, and typically, the Caucasian race. |

popcorn.gif all day long, it seems. :-) in my day-to-day life i have enough on my plate with my companies, but lol pandemic means i've got spare cycles so this seems like as good a place as any to spend a moment or two. =) after all, i've had this forum account for what feels like a while and never used it. |

And for what it's worth... i do feel that the "Muted" movement isn't likely the most powerful tool in the shed if we want to stand up and see change in the right direction. But i don't begrudge someone who feels like taking a step back for a second and using that hashtag. I'm less a hashtag activist than i am a "take every new shooter i can to the range as much as i can and ensure that people who are at risk of violence -- be that violent crime or violence from the state -- are very familiar with firearms" activist. Still... the way some of you all are reacting tells me that you have *far* too little going on in your lives and that it takes only the slightest deviation from your expected daily norm for you snowflakes to start bawlin' I swear, a handful of you boys in the 2nd Amendment community are worse than an entire sewing circle of Karens at an outdoor brunch. It's like if you so much as drive past a house with a sign in the window that you disagree with, you act like you want to pull over and walk up to the door of a total stranger and give them a talking to. You know you can just keep right on driving by. YouTube and Twitter are free, my dudes... you can scroll right on past things that you don't like without saying anything. Or cancel your subscriptions to the videos and demand to speak to the manager so you can get a refund of all of the internet dollars you spent watching free content for years. ;-) |
