Because the propaganda machine ie ADL, SPLC and FBI have labeled it right wing terrorist group. Watching the "machine" work has been fascinating to me. I've been participating in their seminars for going on three years now. One says, hey look at this Boog movement. Second one says, hey in reference to the above, the boog might be a right wing terrorist group. [Post pics of antifa in flowery shirts. We/Us all know it's antifa. All two of them.] Third one says, linking to above the boogs are a right wing terrorist group. Now ALL official publications, notices and training refer to anyone who wears flowery shirts or affiliates or claims status a Boogarian to be right wing terrorist. With zero proof of such. Some folks from CATO did the same about LE a few years back. GD applauded it because it fit with what they wanted to believe despite being shown the errors and the exact way this is carried out. The pattern is set to frame any group the "machine" wants to target without any proof of their claims. Sure they might get one or two who are legit whack jobs but the goal is disparage the whole group. ETA: Also see the Pepe the frog propaganda. And Kek. |

We actually have people with that identifier and its both sad and incredibly comical. |

It's very similar to how some propaganda models work. 1) set up fake media outlet and pushing a soft unsourced story that X might be true. 2) get operative or useful idiot at real but minor media outlet to publish story that X might be true, citing the story from step 1 as a source 3) repeat step 2 several times, citing each other as much as possible. Also remove any soft wording or ambiguity. 4) use useful idiots and bots on social media to hype 'X is true!!!' citing all the fluffed up articles. 5) MSM picks up on the story because of social media hype and their desperation for clicks / revenue 6) the government that set the whole thing up now officially claims 'X is true!' and cites MSM stories on it. few people ever question it or bother because digging through the history is too much work. |

Even when you prove to them they got trolled, they just double down and clinging to their initial emotional bomb. Because they are addicted to negative excitement. And they're arrogant. https://acleddata.com/2021/08/16/actor-profile-boogaloo-boys/ The potential for new gun restrictions and the Boogaloo movement’s ability to grab media attention through violence, as well as its armed presence and participation in demonstrations, has ensured its momentum post-election, albeit at a smaller scale. A reliance on social media organizing, which initially bolstered the movement, has now clipped the wings of its cells, as Boogaloo actors struggle to gain an immediate organizational foothold online in the aftermath of a deplatforming effort since June 2020. Though the threat of direct violence from Boogaloo adherents has waned, it remains imperative to monitor the movement for signs of a return to violent street activism. |

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2021/01/boogaloo-prepare-civil-war/617683/ Over the past two years, the terminology moved from 4chan to Facebook, where a few groups quickly grew to thousands of members. MacNab says she tries to identify what she calls the "social butterflies" of the online groups: young men who seem to intuitively understand what's cool and funny to their peers, and what isn't. Once she finds a few, she follows them from group to group, across the internet, as a way of accessing their world. The word boogaloo morphed into big igloo, which brought about a deluge of igloo imagery, and also into big luau, which is what prompted some boogaloo bois to wear Hawaiian shirts under their body armor. One boogaloo meme shows the "Don't Tread on Me" Gadsden snake set against a turquoise-and-pink floral pattern above the words aloha fuckface. |

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/08/19/magazine/boogaloo.html Back in November 2019, Mark Pitcavage, a senior research fellow at the Anti-Defamation League's Center on Extremism, issued a warning about who was using the word "Boogaloo" and why, in the form of a blog post illustrated with bizarre memes pulled from their forums: Pepe the frog firing a bazooka, a laser-eyed storm trooper with a black-sun halo, a big igloo. Though some still use "Boogaloo" as a joke, Pitcavage wrote, "an increasing number of people employ it with serious intent." Still, he finished with a note of caution: Some people use the word "Boogaloo" to "mock some of the more fanatical or gung-ho elements of their own movement." |
