Attached File What a great event! Thank you to all that came out, I know I said it at the award ceremony but you truly make the event happen. My staff I can’t thank you enough. You guys know who you are so I don’t have to name names but you make this event flow like ex-lax. Here are the results. Attached File We will be moving locations next year, hopefully. Make sure to post pictures of our generous sponsor prizes they provided. Any mentions of beans or legumes will be a future ban from HL. Thank you guys/gals, this event seems to get easier the more we do it so let’s keep it rolling. |

Lazy copy and paste from the other thread- Home, showered and fed, figured I'd take a minute to thank everyone that made it possible. CesSnap, cwar_USA and the rest of the staff (except Ling Ling, fuck that guy), props for a well run event, I appreciate the effort involved. The food was awesome and I wish I knew the names of everyone responsible for that, but thank you all. Geissele, Esstac and the rest of the sponsors, generous as always. I don't go for the swag, but it's an excellent bonus. And all the attendees, friends old and new. Good seeing some of you again and meeting some of you for the first time. I almost didn't make it.  Huge shout out to all the helping hands that showed up and made the event a breeze to get everyone fed and run. Seemed like everyone had a good time and hopefully subtly found some things to work on in the future. Kimbo was really disappointed in her performance and has been telling me about what she wants to aim for improvements. The course was pretty fast and we all ran it pretty slow. I think my biggest issue was conditioning. I watched the first runner and got a bit of nerves when I saw he was breathing hard between obstacles. Conditioning in general is gonna be my focus for the coming year. Huge shout out to mustangduck for that tower of a night vision gap.  |

This was hands down one of the funnest things I’ve done in a long time, everyone was super friendly and gave great advice to this Newb. Shoutout to LingLing for the shittalking, probably why I did so great in the rifle stage haha! Can’t wait to see if it’ll be back for 2025! Also did anyone get any videos of my shooting stages? Burmo and draco were too busy sniffing stuff to record me

I needed the heckling to remind me that feelings are for the weak, and he didn't disappoint, although he was the #2 heckler behind the host's mom. It was funny to see that I beat someone by one second, and someone beat me by one second. Now the question is do I stick with combat or set up the Esstac belt for a non combat run?!??? |

HDLS rocked in the kitchen as usual CesSnap, thx for hosting this great event. Can't wait to see where we land next year. Was a sucky run for me. Lots of room for improvement, Suffering was great.... No rain (ok, that little sprinkle on Wed night that sent everyone running like roaches when the light is turned on doesn't count), but pretty hot.  |

It was a fantastic event. I want to thank everybody that organized and helped with this. As with the other colawars that I’ve fought to date, it was an excellent group of people. The obstacles were not bad, but my technique and upper body strength got me a rope climb penalty. I need to work on that. The rest of my run went decent. One penalty on the chug; which was annoying. Attached File That picture was actually as I finished number 6, so did not capture my penalty, but Roscoe should get a Pulitzer for the stunning image. A huge thanks to the sponsors and fellow runners that contributed to the awesome swag. I shall think of HL4 every time I poke a fire. Attached File In a fit of excitement, I installed the SSA-E into this particular rifle first thing, so to be clear, I did not win a SD upper, but now the rifle has the trigger it deserves. |

You all make this worth the drive to come even though we were only able to be there for a day. Thanks for welcoming Eli and encouraging him. He’s been steadily increasing in skills, largely due to the mentorship of many at this event. I’m looking forward to the day he crushes my scores. 9th consecutive NV win for me but I left a lotta meat on the bone. Time for me to stop being broken and fat. Ready for the long drive home. This was the least prepared I've been for any kind of competition since I started doing competitions. Mentally. Physically. Equipment.
