Olympic uppers are hit or miss, the one in the video below worked for 30,000+ rounds before ATF seized it in 2008 along with the rest of the inventory at the time. The one I have built was tight with all mags. Took a little filing to drop free. Cleaned up some flash in the Bolt catch slot and mag release. All good to go. Bought complete kit from PSA on Black Friday. $300, light weight AR. Added primary arms blem red dot from Black Friday and $30 matech buis, $400 complete rifle. Not the prettiest or most expensive but serviceable and cheap. Didn’t even need the lowers or a new rifle, just wanted to see how cheap I could get a complete gun built. |

Here is one of the lowers built into a pink gun for my daughter in law.
Attached File My 10 year old granddaughter says "Mine is next Grandpa". Somewhere between $275 and $300. Rattle Can Pink and a magpul Handguard. |
