Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Mrs. E Avila Jr, Co-Founder of AR15.com. I thought you all might be interested in how this project got started. I've been on this site since 2008. I don't post but I read, laugh, cry, scream, you name it. The community that was built here is incredible due to all of you. In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, we lost Edward to his courageous battle with Cancer. I've never seen anyone handle such pain with the dignity and strength that he did. So to say my pain was "soul crushing" when he passed is an understatement. I had no idea in which direction my new normal would take. But I had time since the world was shut down. I just took the time to grieve and didn't run from it. Then one day, Goatboy reached out and asked if I would like to go back to working with ARFCOM but I had no idea of what that would look like. What would I do? But with little hesitation, I said yes. I wanted to continue to be a part of the community that my husband and brother created. They gave me the freedom and flexibility to figure out how I could further the cause so to speak. So I after attending a lot of different shooting events, I noticed something. People were standing around smoking their cigars and having a great time. And there it was. I was going to create a line of cigars for ARFCOM. After months of research and tasting different blends, we chose what we think is the the perfect, premium cigar. The cigars are produced at the William Ventura Factory in the Dominican Republic. The factory is known for traditional smoking profiles often incorporating rare and vintage tobaccos to showcase refined smoking nuances.
