Now that I got a shiny new 10/22 to compliment the .38 snubby I keep locked up in the safe with half a box of ammo, how should I protect these WMD's?

I listen to a lot of talk radio and I constantly hear ads for Simplisafe home security. Anyone have it? Is it good, bad or just ok?

I'm intrigued by the supposed ease of installation and the relatively low monitoring costs.

have it , like it, inexpensive, we use it monitored but you dont have to, sensors are 'cheap' looking and could be smaller, keypad needs to be backlit, other wise no real complaints.  the subforum for security has several threads

I looked at Simplisafe when I was setting up my system.

I went with a Quolsys panel from https://suretydiy.com/ and alarm.com monitoring.

I have it.  The beeping from the keypad could be louder, a Lot LOUDER.  The setup is stupid simple.  You can add to the system as you like.  I can change the pass code or add additional pass codes, even temporary codes for a plumber or what not.

Cheap monitoring and a bombproof mobile app.

I give it a 9 of 10.

ETA: ADT was 4 out if 10

Simply shit should be the name. Codes can be sniffed easily since they are not encrypted. Proprietary equipment meaning you cannot have someone else monitor that system if you are dissatisfied with the service. Go with a local company, they will match price.
