Went back to Tactical Optics for a bit at my local 3 gun match Tidewater 3 Gun. Got a little trigger happy as my rifle paper targets only required 4 rounds but all in all did the stage in about 66 seconds:

Here's my video of the 2012 Fallen Brethren 3 Gun at Spartan Tactical in Jacksboro, TX. I did not shoot well, and ended up 55th out of 147. At least you'll be able to see some of the stages in my video except for stage 2, which did not get recorded. The dates are up for next year, so mark your calender!

I took 1st in open and tac optics on 10-28-12. Shot pretty well and my friend who usually beats me had a bad day. Only 3 of us in open and 19 in tac optics.

Match on 3-24-13
Took 2nd in Open and 6th in Tac. My shotgun stage in Tac killed me with a few gun malfunctions and a few mental malfunctions on my part. My rifle stage in open sucked but I made up for it with a smoking run with my Saiga on the shotgun stage. I love that gun. Forgot I had this on my cell phone, video of Keith Garcia during one of the final Shoot-Offs at this year's 3-Gun Nation Rumble at the Range, 3GN Championship. It was an awesome experience to be there in Vegas this year and can't wait for the next opportunity to see that many Shoot-Offs in a row again!

May BGSL 3-Gun 3GN Club Series. I hadn't shot a 3-Gun match since last September. I could tell.  The Good (Even with the bobble at the first load, I took the stage win here): The Ok: The Bad (there were 5 targets in the third array - don't ask me how I completely neglected to shoot one of them): The comedy of errors: (I have no explanation for this one, I just completely forgot what I was doing.  ):(This one was the 3GN classifier. I kept telling myself, "shoot 3, reload, shoot 3"... yeah...) Had a bunch of fun though. |

Myself and 3 up here host a annual three gun match its usually the largest in our state. We had a great turn out again. We did 10 stages over 2 days with a precision rifle side match. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I got 6 hours sleep over the last two days between, ROing acting as a match director, shooting ,set up, clean up and scoring. Managed to get 2nd in Open. R&R Saigas dominated at this match 4 R&R saigas were being used by 5 shooters and these guns were used by 1st ,2nd and 3rd place. Here are the videos I managed to get.
