| anyone know anything about the new 1145 level IV plates on sale for $294.99 ? not much info on listed ,are they curved and are they all steel ? dosent say what coating level they have but looks llike great deal but never owned armor. |

It doesn't say, but it's either ceramic, or a ceramic hybrid combined with a composite like UHMWPE or combined with metal. You could make an all steel level IV plate, but it would be very heavy; much heavier than 7.8 lbs/ plate. |
