Hop, Centurion Ordnance is making a pump shotgun just for those shells. It is called the "Poseidon Microshotgun". Has rifled sights, 18.5" barrel, 5.3 lbs, 37" overall, choked improved cylinder, with a five shot tube mag. Five shot! I thought the idea was to hold more shells! Another good idea gone to shit. Read about it in the Jan issue of GUN WORLD. MIKE.

My mossberg 500 ended up being able to hold 14 of those Aguila shells.  The only problem with feeding is the piece of metal in the center of the elevator is not long enough to keep them from tipping down when the shotgun is being cycled while being held horizonal.  I am going to have a gunsmith just extend the elevator piece about a half inch and it should work like a charm.  I have had no ejection problems whatsoever.

Something I have long wondered on this topic:  The AWB defines that a semi-auto shotgun that can hold more than 5 rds is an AW.  When Aguila came out with these short shells I began to wonder what this did to people who own semis.  I understand that the shorts do not cycle the action on most or all guns so the point is probably moot from a realistic point of view.  On the other hand the law just defines the mag capacity as the "evil feature".  A normal everyday 5 rd mag would accept 8 or more of these right?  The introduction of this ammo by Aguila would effectively felonize anyone who owns a tube fed semi, would it not?
This is such a stupid, annoying way to subtract "inaleinable" rights.

Mike, you're talking about this horrifically ugly thing?

The new MAG 7 comes with 2 - 5Rd magazines that load the 12 gauge minishell (12 bore-60mm). These are the future of police security and home defense. Don't wait! Each one is tested by the manufacturer for the highest quality! 20" barrel; 37" overall.

Wave, The shotgun I saw in GUN WORLD looked like a normal pump shotgun only smaller. But if it does not take more that 5 of these mini shells what is the point. MIKE.

exactly.  2 3/4" has little recoil so no point getting a gun made just for the mini shlls.  Im going to watch the rounds closely next time and see exactly what can be done to make them work.
