my forms went out feb 3
arrived at batfe on feb 4 checked cashed and cleared today feb 10 how long should my expected wait time be? |

Sent Nov 15 2008 cashed Nov 25 2008 Approved Jan 29 2009 PIcked up at Dealer Feb 7 2009 8 weeks from check cashed to approved. Also take into acount this was over 3 holidays and most approvers had vactaions over some if not all the holidays. Times depend on what dealer you go thru. That governs what BATE approver it goes to. My dealer (Republic Firearms in Houston Tx.) told me that the BATE has hired a bunch of extra help. My way of overcoming the wait is to order at least one suppressor each month. I have joined the suppressor of the month club. That way you have something coming in each month. Takes alot of the pressure off. |

I sent out my form 1 for my first ever NFA item SBR in early December, then a form 4 for my suppressor a month later, and now I have a form 1 for a krink AK sitting in front of me, and I also just purchased a colt 6933 SBR and a RRA factory SBR on order so it's like christmas once a month! |
