Going to SBR one of my minis.  I have a 185 series as well as a new/unfired 585 series 16” tactical in .556.
Going to SBR down to 12.5”. Undecided which to do. Any pros or cons for SBRing either? Thanks in advance for any input.

I can't offer any input specific to the Mini-14.

I would SBR the less accurate rifle, of the two.

I decided to do the 585 tactical series.  Really like how it came out.  Now to decide on an optic.
