18 mos. ago I got a blue one, early '70s vintage, that at least appeared unfired for $500.  But deals like that don't come often nowadays.

Be aware that the old Pythons are worth more than the newer stainless ones.

Generally, figure $650 on up.

I saw on Colt's Website that they are bringing the Python and Anaconda back into production for a limited run. No mention of the new prices though.

Hey...AR_Rifle....where'd you get my Python?  That's the same one I have.  Bought it back in 1985.  Aren't they nice?

Yes, they are nice......very nice. Mine is still new and unfired.  I got it from a dealer in NY.

I must say, this Colt looks pretty impressive:

I thinks its going on my wishlist, after I get the S&W Performance Center Stealth Hunter:

We had a thread going on this subject a while back, and I think someone said that it was something in the neighborhood of $1,000US for a 6-inch stainless steel. That's pretty heavy duty for a revolver.

New, used, royal blue, stainless ?
I paid $600 for mine 7 years ago used. Royal blue 6" barrel.
I've seen them used on auction sites for around that price. As for new..I haven't priced one in awhile. Best $600 I ever spent on a gun though.

Was that $600 US or Canadian dollars? I once bought some Canadian coins from the Royal Canadian Mint, and when I got the bill, I got a pleasant surprise because it was a whole lot less than the advertisement, then I realized that the ad was in Canadian Dollars.

O.K. i'm hoping they are producing them and they approve them for sale in CaliFornication soon.

I didn't see them on the list...
maybe I could find a used one but would rather have a new one.

Thanks for the info guys, as always very helpful!
