This has been a busy week.
Loaded 400 Hornady 50gr Z-Max over 24gr H322 (got 16# for $150) and Fed 205M in Win 223 brass.  Did load development last weekend and this charge netted me sub 1/2 MOA.
Finished FL sizing 400 pieces of Win 223 brass (last of 1k I got a few weeks back).  Need to run through SS media to remove the lube and then to the Giraud for trim / chamfer / debur.  I'll hand prime these next weekend.
Ordered 50# of RP 223 brass and I'll be prepping that over the coming weeks.
Loaded up 25 Nosler 69gr HPBT CC (5 each @ 24, 24.5, 25, 25.5, 26).  I'll shoot these as soon as I can hit the range again

I reloaded for the first time today :)

Reloaded some 124gr FMJ 9mm for my XD.  Went to range and it shot pretty good.  Going to do some more testing when my order from PV comes in hopefully end of this week.

Loaded a run of 1,000 .223 with 55 grain Dogtown bullets & 8lbs IMR-8064 XBR. 300 of those got reloaded twice for not passing L.E. Wilson case gage. Next is unbolting XL650 and bolting the quasi-550 up for a run of 75 grain hpbt.

Sized and lubes some 45 Colt and 45 ACP boolits I cast last week.

298 260 gr SWC for the Blackhawk in 45 Colt and 664 200 gr SWC for my 1911

Accurate Molds 45-260K and 45-200H

I looked at my reloading bench...

I converted my 550B case feeder to feed .223. Modified 32 H&R drop tube and guide, added 650 small rifle case feed plate, and modified the cam feed bracket (changed lower angle from 45 degrees to 35 degrees) so the cases would clear the decapping pin! I can't take credit for the methodogy - all is revealed on Brian Enos web site (Nah! I'm not benefiting by revealing the info).

Processed about 2200 5.56LC case's and added them to my stock. I still need to run about 12K more though this week.  Made some more of the home brewed case lube  too.

Ready to load.

I recently bought the Little Crow World's Finest Trimmer, so I got it all set up for trimming to 1.750". Doesn't take much, just have a trimmed case on hand, put it in, loosen the set screws and move it to the depth you like. Tighten the screws, and away you go.

Then I trimmed a number of case trying it out. Works very well, and it's much easier on your hand than my RCBS Trim Pro.

Tumbled a couple hundred .223 cases. Set up one 550B for .223, and dialed it in. Ready to go. Set the other 550 up for .45 acp. I manage to go out there at least once a day and do something.

I'll still use the Trim Pro for lower volume cases that need trimming, but the WFT is the way to go for .223". It trims, chamfers, and deburrs all at once. Uses your cordless drill for power. According to the documentation and his video, you should get 10-12 cases per minute and they're accurate to about .001".

Got a new tool to empty .38 special cases

Glad I got that 38 conversion for my xl650

Today I made some empty cases to reload. There's a 3 gun at the end of the month, and I might as well get some practice in!

Sadly.....absolutely nothing.  I just got some stuff moved into our house in TN from AK but haven't been able to get my loading room set up yet.  Give me time, it will get done.

Posted a new how-to thread on this very fine reloading forum.

Now as soon as I hang up, I will work on my autocad drawing of my upcoming wood-framed annealer.  The goal is a compact version.  Hope I can do it justice.  Yes, these projects take a toll on my reloading.  On the other hand, tinkering for me is rated right up there even, so I don't mind.  But when I get all my stuff where I want it, and purring like a contented kitty, I will reload.....a lot. I think.  Retirement is still two years away....if I really do it.

This weekend in the first weekend in a month that I can go to the range and shoot.  I'm planning on that....must make ammo first or its going to be a short trip.  What can I say, I'm a grasshopper.  You ants have a two year supply I know.

Monday is my Gun Club's December newsletter production deadline.....I'm the editor....that takes a whole day away from reloading and tinkering with reloading.

On my end, loaded some 6.8 only 30 rounds, just started this caliber, so I am just getting started to see what 6.8 likes the best.  I think I loaded these at 27.3 grains H335, for 115 gn, bthp.

Picked up about 2k of mixed range brass, .45 and .40. Just got to sort it now.

I intended to reload tonight, but I sat at the bench and listened to the last couple hours of the Agenda 21 audiobook that I started on my route this morning. I didn't load anything, but I did tidy the bench a little and made a long list of supplies (mainly reloading and food stock) I hopefully won't need.

I did learn how to fold a nifty tinfoil hat though...

Bought some more powder a week ago.  Cleaned up the reloading area last night, putting stuff away where it should go, then loaded up 80 rounds of .30-06 using 45.0 grains of H4895 and 168 SMK's.  Need to replenish my stock for the Garand and Springfield matches for next year.

Finally looks like I've about got the Lube Master sorted out , couple more adjustments and a new length of spring tube and should be GTG.
It's the second unit Magma made back in the 70's so it's a quite a bit slower then the current model but I can deal with watching it lube 3500 an hour

Yeah, I think I could definitely deal with that rate!

Exactly my problem....me welding challenged.  But you don't have to wait for me.  Another gentleman posted nice pictures of his wood one towards the end of the great Biggdawg Annealer thread.

Nice 637. I will say though, after running a box of 50 through mine Friday night that mass reloads might not be an issue. It's not like shooting 357's but you still feel the lack of mass pretty quickly.

Yesterday I finished wet tumbling the 1000 .223 cases I recently received.  It was done in a Thumbler's-- lot's of loads.  Next up, dust off the super swage 600 and start removing primer crimps.
Link Posted: 12/5/2012 1:17:39 AM EDT
Just finished the initial cutting to convert 50 .223 cases to 300 BLK.  Plan on doing 100 to 150 more tomorrow night.

Trimmed and primed 450 223's.

Bought a new to me press and building the bench tomorrow.

I knocked out about 200 30/06 to blast with some friends :) Heres the ones I made with the brass I got from Assaultrifler

Link Posted: 12/5/2012 6:34:44 PM EDT
Well last night I straightened up the reloading bench for the first time in months. I sorted through resized 9mm brass and picked out 50 that the primer pocket was clean on. After priming, I set up the press for 9mm with 4gr of bullseye and reloaded those 50.

This was while the battery on the cheap HF cordless drill was charging. I used that to spin the primer pocket cleaner on about 200 more 9mm brass.

I finished up with dumping the 50 nickel .38 spl brass I shot last friday into the tumbler.

So far today I've removed the 50 .38 spl brass from the tumbler. If I don't end up with the stomach bug everyone else on earth has I'll probably reload those 50 .38 spl, but I think instead of 3.0gr of bullseye I'm going to set up the micro bar to do 2.7 gr and see if I like that better.

Loaded up some Missouri Bullet 200gr #4-XD over some True Blue and Silhouette.

Also replace my etched beyond belief powder measure tube with a nice new clear one.

Sorted two large collanders of once fired range pick up mixed brass. Loaded so 25-06 with h4831SC & IMR 4350 and topped them with 100gr sierra's and Nosler 110 Accubonds. going to test them this week end. If all goes well. Then its off to the Dillon to load some much needed 38 and the old 45acp. Then for christmas the wifey should be getting me a quick change and cal conversion for 9mm then I can go to town.

Brought the casting pot out, and cast 500ish 50gr .25 Auto boolits. Tomorrow I'll fire up the LAM and size and lube em. Just pulled the brass out of the tumbler and it's drying as I type. Then it is time to roll me some.

Brass tumbled and sorted by headstamp.
Also forgot to mention I had some 223 in the other tumbler....

Picked up a safe and all the lumber I need to get the loading bench built.  I'll get that done this weekend.

Not everyone needs brass 7.63x54r, but the brass was only $30 per 100
