I'm going to try calling again today. I did get an acknowledgement but thats it. nothing was done.
All I want is my property & $$ back. Not asking alot. It's been 9 months & all I've gotten for my time & $$ was the advice that the reciever was soft. I realize that the guy had some issues this summer & i told him to take care of himself, farm & family first before working on my gun. But now I'm just getting the runaround. Next call is to a friend of mine who heads up NICS here in pa, see if he can help. I'm not really sure what to think at this point. |

still nothing.
Got a message now saying I don't return calls. Personally I don't see the need to call when the message says " I'll call you w/ a tracking # when it ships." It shouldn't be this hard. Hell, when I ship a rifle I drop it & $25 off at my ffl & its out the next day. Must be harder in texas. |

Dan is a total douchebag. Seriously. He fucked up my M14s and then he and that wife of his played dumb as if they didn't know.
Fark him. __________________ [email protected] http://www.ttellc.net cool, no bs gear reviews |

Well, my wife called. Looks like a rifle just showed up at my house. can't wait to see the shape its in & the file mark from the "hardness" test.
I had instructed them to ship to my work as 99% of the time nobody is at my house during the day, the wife just happened to be home sick. Already talked to warbird & he says the rifle build shouldn't be a problem & SEI can handle the heat treat if necessary. Looks like I might be finally back in busines as long as there is a check inside the box as well. |

She shoots wonderfully and his communication was excellent. Just thought I'd inject a little positive spin into this thread... |
| Warbird built one of my rifles.Took maybe 3 weeks,The rifle is flawless. It may take abit before you catch him accepting work but that's good.He doesn't overload himself. There's quite a few armorers i'd trust to build a match gun (Warbird included) but for a "bet your life on it" build the only 2 would be Warbird and Smith Ent. |

Well, got my rifle back today. Appears to be ok. Also got a note (not dated) saying I will recieve my refund within 45 days less shipping & an assesment fee. So much for getting your refund within 45 days huh ? That really sucks because it's been almost 60 days since your post. I'd be calling the DA's office in his city filing a compalint pronto. Check shoulda been in the box with the rifle. He always spends the $$$ before he earns it. How sad. Quoted:

My Warbird Poly build still shoots great after 1800 rounds down the tube. I'd do it again. Stand up business man. BTW, he's accepting more work now if anyone needs a rifle worked on or built. He has lots of excellent references here for those that need it. |
