I figured this was worth a try could someone here that has a Surfire 300A mini scout measure the tube diameter, the tube body. I'm trying to figure out if a Larue mount I have will work. Thanks

what kind of mount are you trying to use? the m300 mini scout uses screws to hold it onto the mount and then the whole assembly (light & mount) attaches to weapon

The LaRue site is pretty comprehensive for fitment. The measurements are pretty precise anyway. Which mount are you wanting to use?

I have a miniscout. It's the same dia. of the regular scout as well.

Let me know what mount you have and we can figure it out, but most mounts for the scout are dedicated mounts not rings.
Like the other poster said, they lock up with screws to the mount.
