| Trying to find a hand guard for a Virtus. Thinking 13” Midway but not having a lot of luck locating one. Any other better options? Thoughts / suggestions appreciated. Thanks |

What are you trying to do? Just shield your silencer so that the hot silencer doesn't burn things? Or are you trying to attach things to a rail directly outside of the silencer? If it's just the first, consider getting a silencer heatshield like theModtac U-RAC instead of a wider silencer-compatible handguard. It'll be lighter than a new handguard, allows airflow unlike a rubber silencer cover or a thermal wrap, and if you ever want to run the gun without the silencer then it's easy to remove both the silencer and the heatshield. |
