After lots of thought and planning I am going to buy my uncle sturdy safe (2419, fire liner, interior #2 with side.)  I have read a lot about them, seen the videos and threads on them.  I think it is also worth a mention that customer service is outstanding.  Alyssa is just amazing and helpful in every way  There is not have a lot of room for a safe thus why getting the smallest one makes sense.  I wanted to add a dehumidifier rod inside, some bright lights so seeing inside is very easy, and figure out the best system to store things.  I thought the safe room thread gave me a ton of ideas; maybe this one could give me the same brainstorms.

I figured a posting that people could show their sturdy safes with how they added the accessories to it would be very helpful.  Seeing how other people have their lights, humidifier rods, how they are powered etc.  Maybe list the model and features they selected and why.  I know there are a lot of extras you can get from the factory, I would be interested to see what most people chose to get and why.

Question: Are you able to take off the cover to show the actual linkage, I'm curious to see what it looks like?

Thanks ahead of time for posting and helping me figure this out.

The linkage is not visible or accessible, the same channel that supports the bolts houses the linkage and is welded to the door. I don't think you'll see much other than steel bars welded together and some kind of cam mechanism for actuating the bolts. It's a very simple and very strong design as you can see from the videos.

My safe is pretty basic, I don't even have a heater in it. There are a lot of good photos of what people have done in the "safe photo thread" above if you haven't looked at that yet.

Yes I did look, just was not sure what lights people used and where they put them.  Thank you for the information on the other part.

I have 18" floros mounted under the shelves in the back and they are wired togehter off 1 switch.  I think they are 11 watts each.  it lights everything up for sure

I used LEDs to light mine, you can find 'LED ribbon strips' all over the internet, I just bought enough that I could go up one side, across the top and down the other side just inside the door jamb and then I used a small switch actuated by the door (mounting the switch was the hardest part of all this) to turn the lights on and off.

Its very bright and generates little to no heat, the bulbs will most likely out last me, and it took me no time to get the entire setup up and running. I will say there are cheaper options though.
