I am writing out the check to the ATF tonight on my suppressor. Who does it need to be made out to? Can I simply make it out to ATF or do I need to spell out Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. OR.....do I need to include National Firearms Act Branch of........etc. etc. etc.? I know you guys have the answer.  This is my first NFA item so I want to make this exactly perfect so everything goes smoothly.Thanks!

| hello. either way is fine. but, MAKE SURE you put the serial number of what you are buying on your check. this will insure that if it gets seperated from your paperwork before its supposed to they will be able to track it down. ive done this with all my transfers and never had a problem yet. kirk |
