I'm going to buy an IR flashlight. Thinking about a Streamlight TL 2. Anyone have one?

They throw a lot of IR.  Vic is right, they do have a bit of a visible tinge to them.  I put a 850nm 30mm IR bypass filter in the front lens and it significantly reduced the red glow.  I would recommend the light.

I ordered one from Optics Planet, I figured you can't go wrong for $100, can't find anything else in that price range (Are you listening Vic!, lol....)... and I've had EXCELLENT customer service from Streamlight with other things in the past. The filter that you got, where did you get it how much etc....Thanks!

850nm IR bypass 30 mm filter.  $9 delivered from Hong Kong.  I've got these on my Streamlight TL2s and TLR1-IR.  Same size fits both.
