I need some help. I sent SilencerCo and email, but just haven't heard back form them.

I just got my Spectre II and I'm having trouble getting it to sight in when I mount in on the host weapon. I have tried it on a Ruger 10/22 Takedown and a Sig 522. Both rifles were sighted in prior to putting the suppressor on and now I cannot zero either rifle. I ran out of adjustment on the Ruger and the Sig would not even touch the paper at 25yds. I disassembled it to see if I was getting baffle strikes and it does not appear that I am. I moved the target up to 10yds and the Sig is still shooting about ten inches to the left.  I have tried Remington Subsonic, CCI Quite and CCI standard velocity.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Take out the o ring, or get the correct adapter for the SiCo muzzle specs.

Thanks for your reply. Not trying to question your answers, but I'm new to suppressors and I'm trying to learn.

Both rifles are threaded for 1/2x28, what adapter would I need? Also, what would taking the O-ring off do.

Okay , I just ordered the 1/2x28 to1/2x28 adapter and the 1/2x28 spacer.

Thanks to everyone for the help.

It's about thread length - if the standard threads (not cut to Silencerco's o-ring spec) are longer than 0.4" then you risk compressing / tearing into the o-ring unevenly.

Either get some shims/spacers or their 1/2x28 to 1/2x28 adapter mentioned above.
