I am ready to send in 2 Form 4s but I want to make sure it would be OK to send a single 400.00 check rather 2 separate checks for each.
Does any one have an experience with this? Sounds silly I know but I just don't want any problems with an already crazy long wait. Thanks. |

It is fine and it doesn't matter. It will go to Atlanta, they will take the check out, and send the forms to WV. Once it leaves Atl, nobody will no if it was one check or two and the people in Atlanta wiull only care if you have enough to cover the tax, not what is on the forms as far as approval or what not. I have written checks for as many as five at one time and I am certain Gemtech didn't sned a hundred little checks during the Tundra Gem-tax promotion.

I would use two checks, just so you would have a record of the tax paid for each transfer seperately. I keep a hanging file folder with every single document related to each of my NFA toys, including reciepts for all the accessories mounted to it, etc, so having seperate cancelled checks also cuts down on confusion in my files.

Kharn I do the same, with each NFA item's serial number in the memo space. |
