OK, I sent my form 1 off to the NFA branch yesterday. The form 1 I got by mail after calling the BATFE office in Las Vegas, The form said it was good till 7/31/07 and had the DC address. Included was a Certificate of compliance and a notarized copy of the certification of Trust for a living revocable trust. Oh, and a check made out to the department of Treasury in the amount of $200. I sent the envelope to the WV address. This is the first time I have tried to get a tax stamp for an NFA item. Hopefully I did everything correctly. I have wanted a SBR for a very long time and if I had never joined ARFCOM I doubt that I would have tried. Thanks for the advice and answers to my questions, Ronzo

| Look at the tacked thread above, u should have sent it to the new WV address. They moved over a year ago. This will only delay your process. I believe that they are now wanting the whole copy of your trust, not just your notarized copy. Congrats on your venture into the NFA world. There will be many more once you get your first stamp. |

Yes, I did send the manila envelope to the WV address. The ATF agent I talked to at the Las Vegas office said to mail the certificatrion of trust with the form one and the certificate of compliance and the check, if they want the Declaration of trust I will fax or mail that as well.Ronzo

Yeah, I made the check out to the Dept of the Treasury and put BATFE in the memo section. It has been a week since I sent it in and they have not cashed it yet. I hope they cash the check, when I was making monthly checks to the IRS I made the checks out to Uncle Sam, literally for two and a half years and they cashed every one. I really want this form 1 to go through, thanks for all the advice guys, Ronzo
