I have a DSA STG 58 and a TRILUX SUIT Scope. I have the extra top cover mount for the scope but it's kinda flemsey and POI seems to change after shooting a while...maybe it's just me but I get that feeling like it's not strong enough. Anyway, I also have the HD Top Cover mount with weaver rail from DSA. I use it with QD HD Rings for an ATN scope. I saw TAPCO has a nice strong looking weaver rail mount just for the TRILUX to click onto. My concern is...Will the coupling of the HD Top cover with weaver rail (plus) the TAPCO TRILUX rail mounted scope base be too high and cause trouble with elevation when sighting in?
If you have experience with this setup please respond with advice or comments. If you have no experience with this particular setup, your comments and guesstimations are appreciated as well.
thanks

Get another mount or machine your DSA for the TBAR.  I have done to to mine and it works great.  I would also check the rivets on your original mount...It shouldnt lose its zero that easily.

You can easily sell your dustcover mount for $50 which would cover a new Tapco mount.
Or spend the extra $$ and get a nice ARMS mount

thanks...the dust cover mount rivits have been replaces with gun quality screw and nut for better stability bu a professional gun smith.
I'll look into the ARMS mount though...
