IIRC, there are 3 lug adaptors for this thread size out already.

We need to hold another SCAR competition so that some manufacturer will bring forth a different design for all the euro nations to copy.

Any word on if we will see the classic flash hider found on the full size carbine? Interested in any updates on the folding stock or what parts Eagle Imports will be importing. This price from Palmetto has me very interested.

Thanks for the reply, I'd love a shorter version.

The Stribog was just way cheaper then what I can get a Scorpion for and then have to upgrade a few things to make it useable for me. Best thing it has going for it is the non reciprocating charging handle. But thats just my opinion. 699 for the Stribog and a complete lower from PSA was a no brainer for me. |

I like seeing the updates for this gun. Any word about other calibers?

Have you looked at how difficult it would be to remove the barrel?
Saw you said it had a barrel nut. |
|
|
kpel308, can you find out if and when the A3 version becomes available, will A1 owners be able to retrofit the new bolt system into existing chassis or is too different? Also will parts like the dual charging handles be available?

I referred Jaro to this page. I'll wait for him to get back to me. As I said, he's very busy with a new baby right now.

I had to pull the trigger on the PSA deal. My FFL Dealer ordered one for himself too after he ordered mine. Hoping for the factory folding stock and flash hider will be available soon.

Picked up my Stribog the other day and really like it. I was thinking about having a plate with a 1913 rail made for it but I saw someone post about Safety Harbor Firearms making one. I contacted them today to try to get some info on it. Hope they get back to me soon!
Just need Franklin Armory to make a trigger for this and maybe fix how the safety works. :) |

Got my Stribog set up with an AR pistol tube and SOB brace.
Also added a Primary Arms red dot. A budget set up for now but it works fantastic. This pistol fits me great. Target acquisition is fast and natural. It actually fits me better than my Scorpion. As for the charging handle, no injuries yet. Mostly my left hand stays on the mag well anyway. I wouldn't mind someone coming up with a lower profile handle though. Overall I'm super happy with this pistol. It's so much better than what I was expecting. Also really surprised about the quality. Doesn't feel cheap in any respect. |

With the telescoping brace, you can see I had to clearance the body of the adapter. The receiver is too wide so you'll have to remove about 1/16" from the mount. You'll also need to clearance the rods on the inner and bottom. The rods will rub on the angled section of the receiver.
For the rear plate, I drilled a couple holes and mounted my rail section. The rear plate is plastic and I noticed some flexing when I mounted the brace. I used some jb weld and filled in the voids to add some rigidity. |

I just got off a text conversation with Jaro. He says he agrees the Glock mag version is a great idea, and is in the development pipeline. Unfortunately, it will take about a year to bring to market. The stick mag is here to stay, though, as he has a lot of military and law enforcement contracts now. He is cranking out Stribogs as fast as he can make them, now.

Emailed Eagle Imports about Euro Stock and flash hider on September 3rd. Here is their reply:
Mr. Smith, Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately no, there are no current plans to bring in the Euro Stock or a flash hider for the Stribog at tis time. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Any ideas on an alternative source? Tried Euro Military.com no luck. Maybe the Canadians can help us out? |

I would much rather a Colt SMG or MP5 pattern mag well. Glock mags are mediocre for PCC

I'd still like to see if a simple adapter can be made to use Colt mags. Other options are always good, especially for those that already have a stockpile of them

Stribog did well overall today. Handed the dirt and such at the club well.
Had some minor feeding issues if the mag got rocked too much, seemed to happen if the mag got monopodded on a stage that required a prone position. |

PPC 2 Gun 9 15 2018 Stribog Hard to see the jams. The first stage has prone. I thought he shot up the downloaded mag but it was instead a jam. Mag was being monopodded. Second jam was at the window barricade, that was actually a spent case stuck in the action. Plan is to video the action and attempt to replicate the monopod jam. @JeredMD |
