| Can you convert a SP-89 to a rifle legaly? Or what can I do with one to make it more user friendly?I am in CA so I cannot SBR or AOW it.I have shot 94s, MP-5s,MP-5Ks and PDWs and love them but the SP-89 is a little slow for me.I think if I could legaly configure it to a pdw type carbine it would help. |
| Too bad you can't SBR it - that would be the easiest to do. Then you could put on a folder stock. I guess you could get a manufacturer to "make" a rifle out of it, then put on a 16" bbl from a 94 and a stock. But I think at this point it would be better/easier to just get a 94. |

Have someone weld and pin an extension to the barrel for 16", then put the PDW stock on. I'd suggest getting in contact with Jayson at IGF. ETA: Looks like his site is down. It's been hinkey since August. Keep tryin' or find someone local. The boys at ORF (look in the industry section) might be able to help as well. |
