My Sig P716 Patrol rifle with AAC 51T Blackout flash hider, Geissele SSA-E trigger group, and MagPul UBR stock. I ended up selling this rifle. It as one of the heaviest rifles that I have ever owned. A lot heavier than my old Galil AR .308, HK 91, PTR 91, KelTec RFB, and FN FAL. Even with the heavier weight, it still had the worst recoil of any .308 rifle I have ever owned with the added deficit of the heaviest recoil. I don't regret selling it nor do I miss it.

I saw a modification thread on here once where a guy swapped to a mil-spec barrel nut to let him use aftermarket rails, but he had to cut some of the spokes on the nut to let the piston oprod fit. Very curious what your modification is, always been tempted to figure out a way to put a longer rail on mine. Ruled out the Lancer carbon when I handled one in a store and felt how large it was.
