When I run my lb of powder through my powder measurer I can just take it and dump it back in the bottle can't I?  Thanks for the help

How else are you going to store it? One can of powder on the bench at time, and then your empty your PM back into that bottle to avoid any mxing of powder!

Sorry guys sounds like a stupid question.  I was meaning on the breakin process for the measurer.  Sorry to sound like a dweeb.

Disassemble and clean the measure first to remove oil, dust, and so on.  The "break in" coats the innards of the measure with some of the graphite coating from the gun powder.  If the measure is clean of contaminates, then the gunpowder is okay to dump with the rest.  Give it a good shake to mix.

If you have a static problem with the powder sticking to the plastic powder hopper,

Then use a dryer sheet and rub it inside and out on the powder hopper.

Powder can go into and out from measure to powder can until it ends up inside a case.

Just run a few drops of Graphite thru it after you clean the measure... you can get powdered graphite at hardware stores or auto parts stores.
