I have a 6.5 inch 5.56 SBR that currently has a Spike's T2 buffer with a heavy spring.  It shoots great with this combination, but gave me fits with a standard buffer and spring when I first built it.  I now have a Law Tactical folding stock adapter and I am putting a fixed rifle length stock on it.  I prefer a CAR stock all the way out, but have always wanted the shortest stock I could get to keep OAL low.  Now that the gun folds in half, length is no longer an issue.  I am putting an Ace ARFX skeleton on it.

Would I be better off keeping my current buffer and spring and adding a spacer to the receiver extension, or going over to a rifle buffer and spring?

Thanks for any advice
