I just sent in my paperwork for a service grade Garand. This will be my first CMP purchase. I know it will take them a few weeks to ship it out, but when do they charge the card? Just wondering cuz I haven't seen any charges yet. Is that usually done right when the envelope shows up, when they start processing, or when the stuff ships? |

Whats nice is that within just hours of getting a shipping notice the gun is delivered to your front porch. How do they notify you with a mail-in order? From what I've read on the CMP forums is once they get to your order then they will automatically set you up with an E-Store account. Then you can go there and check the status and get the tracking #. I think thats how it goes anyway. Before I sent my order in I had already registered on the E-Store. So then I just put my customer I.D. number on the order form. |
| How long does it take to get your customer number? I sent in my paperwork and an order form last week and I havent heard anything from them yet. Will they send me an e-mail when they get to me? I already made an e-store account, but I cant do much without the customer #. |

It may be a few weeks before you get a e-mail stating that your order was receieved
You have to set up your own account on E-Store and then you can track your order from there. Dont expect anything to ahppen overnight as the are sawmped with orders. It may be months before your order arrives The day before your order ships FedEx will call saying package will arrive next day and someone over 21 has to be there to sign for package |
| My last order took just under six weeks. I got my acknowledgement e-mail on 12/14 (I probably mailed my order a week to 10 days before that). I got my shipment e-mail on 1/14. Along the way, they e-mailed me to tell me that my notary had expired and that I needed to send a new notarized application. I got right on that so I don't think that slowed things up at all. |
