Probably a stupid question! Thinking of getting my first suppressor, and looking at the Liberty Constitution. From what I understand, this is a screw on suppressor. If you go that route, what do you use on the host gun if you're shooting without the suppressor attached to protect the threads or provide any sort of muzzle flash hiding capabilities? Screw a normal flash hider back on? Or simply don't shoot the gun without the suppressor, or what?

Would Quick detach be better for me? I'd like a can that is cleanable, so I can shoot .223 and .22 through it.

You can get a thread protector to protect the threads when you are shooting the rifle without a can on it.

My personal opinion is to get two suppressors.  One dedicated for each caliber.

22lr cans are too cheap, easy to clean, and plentaful not to get one.  Get both.

Was attempting to avoid spending the time and money on an extra tax stamp. I'll have to look at some dedicated .22 suppressors and see what I want to do.

It will be the best 600 you will spend (in additon to your 5.56 can.)  THey are so small, light, and quiet on 22lr pistols and rifles.
