Sorry if this is a dumb question. I’m Looking at buying from Ridgeback defense now. When ordering direct from them, who submits the NFA paperwork? Would it be my FFL or me that submits it? In the past I have bought from silencershop so all that was handled. I have also messed with eforms but ultimately never submitted anything. If it is the FFL that submits it, I may need to find a different LGS. All 3 of my usual ones here are silencershop dealers, and at least one of them charges $100 for NFA transfers. |
If my wife had another baby and I was in the delivery room, I'd probably look at it and yell "welcome back bitch" and then have the hospital page Norcal. -scuba_steve

You pay whatever NFA transfer tax your LGS charges, assuming that suppressors are still under the NFA after tonight  Unfortunately some states will still require a form 4. |

Thank you for the replies, that clears it up. I will have to call the other stores but I’m kind of afraid of how much they charge for a transfer. I saw they are on capital armory but OOS. I would order through them if I could but it seems like it could be a long time until they come back in stock. |

Yes, it takes a little longer, but the process is very simple. I did order from ECCO Machine, but they're not affiliated with CA and the transfer fee was kind of a kick in the nuts. ROCK6 |
