This may be the dumbest question around. How is the sight pic on a scope supposed to look? The way I use my scope is to bring my eye back just enough so that there is a 'fuzzy' image all around the outside of the sight picture. This way I can eliminate parallax somewhat; if the sight pic has a sharp edge on it I move my eye toward that edge until it becomes fuzzy. Any comments? |

Sit within the eye relief so you don't get the "wandering black spot". Then adjust objective (if possible) until as you're looking at the target, both the cross hairs and target are in sharp focus. It looks like your method is just finding the outside edge of the eye relief and does not serve a purpose for accuracy. But I could be wrong. |
