The padding on the PIG does look quite comfortable. |

Found these old photos of a custom HSGI plate carrier. Trade or sold a couple years ago. I think you sold it to me, or at least I got it from someone else. I love this rig. I have recently switched to a banshee due to the soft armor in the cummerbund. |

The rig is a Mayflower APC with plates & backers, ATS Tripple mag pouch, Mayflower tripple mag insert on left side and front, HSGI Bleeder, EMDOM Vehicle Hydration pack, ATS Mag pouch for my V2, blueforce double pistol mag pouch and dump pouch, horizontal padded NVG pouch (can't remember the make). The radio is a ICOM and the PTT is one of the MSA units, I run them both with Sordins. It's a great setup, I've spent a lot of time trying different things and this is what works for me. The only thing I've changed is I've moved one of the tourniquets to the left side JIC something happens to my right side. |

And with the variety of chest rigs out there using a plate carrier seems a bit much. |

I'm a civvie and I have plates. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7143/6566027985_31bedcd89f_b.jpg Is that seriously a Haley Strategic patch? standard plate carrier. I've got the buckles on the shoulders to attach my HSGI warlord if I want, if I need more mags for a big operation in trucks, but I prefer to run a warbelt if we're dismounted. Radio and 4 mags in ATS puches on the plate carrier, bodywhip and hydration on back, frags, mags, nods and other admin mumbo jumbo on the warbelt. I won't wear anything with straps like a rig or anything over the plate carrier, because vehicles burn like crazy and in an IED dudes are dropping their plate carriers and scambing out of overturned vehicles. Harder than it sounds, especially with kit on. |

Speaking attaching a vest on to the issue system as you show LT, wasn't someone else that made a setup that would attach that way besides eagle??
