Does anybody know of a good way to protect paper items in a RSC from fire, I am looking at a Cool Pouch but I figure someone here would have a better idea.

The best option is using the proper tool for the job. Stop storing those items in a gun safe, and place them in the proper safe or filing cabinet designed to protect against fire.
