I have just acquired a m1 and needed some en bloc clips. I was trying to find a bargin, and found that Sarco has them 50 for 2.50 each... then added 30 bucks shipping, so $3.10 each total.... it's still not a bargin. Sarco on the left, USGI on the right...   seven fit well, but eight can barely be fit in... they do not fit right.  I guess I will send these back to sarco and just pony up for some usgi clips... |

Numerich has new 8 round enbloc clips listed. Does anyone have experience with these? Looking at evilbay and GB prices are making my head explode... the last time I had bought any, they were .50 each. |

Sorry for your experience OP but thanks for letting us know. I bought a grab bag of surplus enblocs from Sarco years ago and all have been good. Last year a friend gave a 30 cal can of enblocs from his father's closet which I gave to my 2nd cousin because he couldn't find any. So stashes are out there. Still some surplus ammo out there already on enblocs so that might be simplest way to go. |

So I'm going to have to eat a bit of crow... @Reach52 I got my new to me rifle, and measured the recoil spring, it was 19.5. I thought i'd put a new spring in it to protect the rifle as I planned to shoot it a lot... I got it from fulton armory, and changed it out just before the sarco clips got delivered... I loaded the sarco clips like I would usgi clips of old, and had problems... but I changed my method and got the rounds to seat properly and not distort the shape of the clip. I test shot the rifle and it would eject but not strip a round from the magazine... so I thought the clips were way too tight.... except a week or so later, I shot my old usgi, and had the same problem.. It seems the new spring is not letting the action to come back far enough to let the bolt get past the cartridge rim .... So i put the original spring back in, and they work fine... loading is still a PITA, but they do function. Now yesterday I got my AG-7 clips from ammogarand.... they look and feel just like usgi, load the same too! I just tested a few clips of sarco, and AG-7 and both work well!! AG-7 clips:   |
