Is it possible to to neck size with a FL resized? Have some .30-06 brass that was given to me. It was loaded ammo, so I pulled the bullets. Am concerned about neck tension and I don't crimp (for a bolt gun).
Thoughts? |

There are some that back the die out to where it only kisses or "bumps" the shoulder. |

If the FL die body contacts the case body, then you are no longer neck sizing. Whether you set up your 30-06 FL die to neck size only or you full length size these cases you will still have to remove the decapping pin/stem if you wish to save the primer. Once you do that, might as well just FL size em. |
