What's you're current setup looking like rn? Those televue EP's are based. I had APM XWA lenses on backorder since late December and the last one is being delivered tomorrow, can't wait. In the mean time I was working on Kilner goggles and a setup to use them for photography as well, so now I have tons of filters to play with. Does turning down the gain help with the scintillation in the photos? I can't wait to see the new pics you teased, I'm sure they are amazing. Please post more when you have time!

Recently picked up a 10" dobsonian and am learning as I go.

I've been using my PVS-14 for locating, but without a mount it's tough to view through the scpope.  Just ordered a TNV-1413 fonemate so this should be fun

Ever think about using your 14 with an AFOCAL setup to peer directly into your DOB?

Yes. That’s included in the kit from TNVC.
ETA: Ha! YOU'RE TNVC.  Awesome idea to integrate NV with Astronomy.

We are on the edge of a metro area. Once I get it dialed in, it will move to our place in Central Oregon where there is less light pollution

Still reading up on which to use.  I have a few, Celstron that came with the scope.  Researching now - Televue 55mm Plossl is discussed on the Tele vue site - any suggestions?

It’s a 2”.

I had the 7.5mm out this morning and once I got the Telrad dialed in, Jupiter was amazing. Could easily see the bands and 2 moons.
Once the NV mount shows up we will point towards Sagittarius and look for some deep sky objects

Minor nit: that's not the Lagoon Nebula but the Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334).

This is the Lagoon Nebula (aka Messier 8), taken by Mike Lockwood with an L3 unfilmed TNV-14:
