So I have soft armor Level III in a relatively new carrier, with pockets for hard plates. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any mollee attachments. Anyone know of anyone that could mod the carrier for me to incorporate mollee attachment point. Ultimately I want to get a custom carrier from BEEZ, but with a child on the way, and other expenses, makes it difficult to allocate the cash right. Figure its more cost effective to make what I have work for the time being.

So if you are not living near a military base you do not have the benefit of local sew shops used to doing stuff like that. Next best thing take it to a shoe repair place (no shit) Most shoe repair places are capable of doing heavy duty sewing (for shoes) and will do custom sewing if you explain it well enough for them and way cheaper than sending off to a specialty tactical sew shop. I have had done at shoe repairs shops in the past: All the heavy duty canvas I need for a gilllie suit sewn on BDU top and bottom, A bikini top for my jeep that tore repaired at a shoe repair shop and I had cobra buckles put on a plate carrier by a shoe repair shop for $25. I was quoted $125.00 by the vest manufacture for the same thing ( for them to put on the cobra buckles.) When molle first came out guys who wanted more or it moved on vest would take 1in. tubular nylon to sew shops and they would do the 1 inch stitching all cross it making it Molle loops sewn to the carriers. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j292/stukas87/DSC05222_zpst46vljij.jpg Cobra buckles sewn on in place of plastic buckles for $25 by shoe repair shop!
