I spent 8 hours today posting a comparison/range test on the Sig556, LW SRT and XCR.
The post had narrative, range data, and many pics.  During the posting I previewed it many times.  I was 90% done and went to preview it again and it came up with some of the img data scrambled.
I hit the back tab on my internet browser and the screen and all was lost.  Is it in your system
waiting to be completed?  I hope so because I won't attempt it again from the beginning.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not staff, so I can't actually help you.  But I find it's best to type out long posts first in Word or notepad and save it as I go, and then copy the final version over when I'm done.  Web forms are fussy and I've lost long posts and emails in the exact way you described.  Losing 8 hours stinks, but there's plenty of people here who would still love to read that review.

bummer, one of the primary reasons for doing these sorts of large write-ups in MS Word or similar program, then cut & paste to the reply box.

(of course you now know that - ain't hindsight a bitch?)

There is also the "submit it first" then "edit it" method which works too.

Doubt, the mods will be able to help ya here.

+1 - always compose long posts off-line and copy/paste into "Submit"

I doubt very much that your post has been saved anywhere on the AR15.COM servers .... hey, can't hurt to ask .....

I am NOT the tech god here, but if you never hit 'submit' then it is probably digital dust.

Submit is like Save, and you can always edit your own post later.

Bummer, I'd like to see that.

Thanks for the replies all.  I am a computer dinosaur.  Maybe I'll try again using your suggestions.  At one point I did try to submit it,  that's why I thought it might be in the system.  It was a very long post with 20 plus pictures.  Thanks again.

Try the search function, using yourself as thread author.  Maybe you'll get lucky.
