I know the whole mag scare is going on, but Holy shit, FAL mags too? didnt realize its that popular!

Keep an eye on the EE on here. Under Rifle parts. I have seen some for sale.

Sigforum classifieds has an ad for lots of 10 DSA metric mags ; $185 delivered.

You mind attaching a link for those mags? I've also seen some from J and C, the only downside is you need to be 21 or older and they want a copy of your driver's license. For $15 for a 20 rounder you can't go wrong, but then again I don't want someone hanging on to that kind of info...

The vendors are out, or just about out, of mags. They pop up here on the EE and on the 'Files, and this is your best bet. You want surplus magazines and not DSA mags if you can help it.

DSA's reviews have been good, and bad. As Ironhandjohn stated above, I would avoid them, and go with surplus. Why take a chance.

TD: Since you're a Team Member and can embed videos, can you post W.E.G.'s video he made at the range with the DSA mags that failed constantly?

I bought a bunch of the DSA mags for my DSA fal.

A bit disappointed, they fit very tight.  Go for used surplus if you can find them.

whatacountry has austrian fal mags for 24.95, a bit pricey before this current craze but now appear to be reasonable price. The austrian mags fit better in my DSA receivers, some other mags are a bit tight

My FAL runs DSA mags just fine but my LAR-8 (RRA 308 AR that takes FAL mags) won't run them at all

They're averaging $25/each here and on the 'Files, so don't lose hope. It's not surprising that the dealers are out given the feeding frenzy that is happening right now.

Don't mean to high jack but is there a way to identify a DSA mag? Are they stamped

They have 'USA' stamped on them somewhere on the body.

I would not sell any of my surplus metric FAL mags for less than $100 each

Something special about them? I just bought 16 and my FAL isn't even here yet. Paid about $25 each shipped.

Well, they match my Israeli rifle very well. It's funny because I own fewer Izzys than any other country's mags. Belgians, S. Africans, Austrians, Germans, converted British, a Canadian trials mag... You never know what's going to turn up when you horse-trade for them sight-unseen.

I love 'em all!

A local gander mountain put a bunch out in a junk pile for $10 each a little while ago.

i don't normally buy things just to buy them, but I did.

What use are mags when there's no ammo?

It wasn't always $1/round like it is now.

Yeah, I can remember the two cases of Port I ordered from Aimsurplus for like $139. If I hadn't been a broke college student then I'd have bought a pallet...
