I admit, this MSAR thing is new to me.  How the trigger works is what I don't know.  Here is what I do know from my limited time at the range.  Please tell me if something is wrong, or it is the way of the AUG trigger.  I'll explain this the best as I can;

-  Full press of the trigger fires the first round, BANG!

-  While still holding FULL pressure on the trigger, (the bolt already cycled) I ease off the pressure.  No trigger reset, instead the hammer falls and a round fires.  BANG! After the round fires, still holding full pressure on the trigger, I ease off the pressure, no trigger reset, againthe hammer falls and a round fires.  BANG! I do this a few more times.  Same result.  OKAY?

-This time, I give a full press on the trigger BUT ease off of it slightly during recoil.  Ease off a little more, I get trigger reset.  Press the trigger.  BANG! Again,  give a full press on the trigger BUT ease off of it slightly during recoil.  Ease off a little more, I get trigger reset.  Press the trigger. BANG!  OKAY?

Is this a multifunction trigger? or is the trigger malfunctioning?  I know the FA version works something like that with a full press/partial press method.

I first noticed this during a function test of the rifle after range day #1, then confirmed it on day #2.

I am still struggling trying to get through a mag w/o failures, though.  The gas system on HIGH doesn't do the trick.  Lots of FTF's (bolt closing part way but not stripping a round and occassional 2x feeds.

+1 !!!   I've never got the kind of customer service from a gun company that I received last week when I called MSAR.  They bent over backwards to help me with my issue, and it was greatly appreciated...and will be remembered down the road.
