Nobody...save your money for a real HK 94.

I like my Bobcat Weapons BW5-FSA.  I had to replace the extractor spring, but it runs fine now.

My CA89 seems OK. Haven't put many rouns through it yet, it came with a semi carrier. 5 mags or so from Vector without issues. It's not much fun as a pistol, it will be much better with a stock on it, and the fun switch of course.

The Coharie clones have been getting some good reviews lately.  I'm considering one.

I shot one of those clones and it looked very much like the real thing.  However my firing stopped after a round somehow managed to get lose in the receiver and rattled around is such a manner as to block the sear from disengaging.  the owner then commented "oh, it does that sometimes."  I to this day have no idea how a round falls out of the mag and ends up behind the bolt...but I guess it happens...more than rarely.

$3,000+

I wouldn't spend that much on one. That's entirely too much and a joke for anything other than an investment.

Get a Coharie, as they are the only current US maker (in production) of MP 5 cloans, and you can get one for right around a grand.

If you want to wait for it, the Professional arms clone is $2,200 but you'll have to wait for over a year.

I have a 2000 SW5 and I love it. And from what I understand, the newer ones are even better.

Oh, I also have a CA89k (SP89 clone) and it seems to work just fine.

Clones get a bad rap, mostly beacuse Todd Bailey  can be a real jerk. But I own 3 clones, 2 by built by IGF and one by Vector and they run great and have no problems. Some times the clones need some tuning up but most can be fixed and run fine.

I also own real HK's a 91,93,94 and a USC/UMP conversion. But I don't take them out to the range much, would rather put the wear and tear on the clones. If you want a clone, I say go for it just stay away from the Hess one and you should be fine. Just remember if you get one and have problems you may have to change some small parts. And I stick with real HK or POF curved MP5 magazines.

In addition to these remarks, stay away from the fake clones from Vulcan.
