gey what's up everyone. So the safe is delivered and placed in the garage. I'm extremely happy. I placed my hygrometer in the safe and left it 24hrs to see how the safe does in the garage. Well here are my readings
Temperatures 84 low and 95 high Humidity 38 low and 63 high So do you guys recommend a goldenrod or evadry? Or both? Thanks again |

38% to 63% is a HUGE swing in humidity. Did you pull the hygrometer out of your 38% humid house and immediately put the battery in to the hygrometer in the garage so it read the initial humidity as 38%? (Or was it really 38 % humidity at the start of the test?)

I'll check tomorrow and see what the readings are after a few days |

Pretty big morning to afternoon swings in Florida (chart) The "annual" which I assume is average, in Jacksonville is a difference of 33% morning to afternoon. And to answer OP: YES I would put both in (dessicant and Goldenrod). I notice a 10% average drop in humidity inside safe c/w outside. I do NOT notice a temperature difference, which makes me wonder if the Goldenrod really does anything..... |
