The guy in the pictures both uses an KAC RAS and a ordinary mountbase. Since tha KAC ras are mountet with the same screw as the ordinary mount base. According to another post on another board the scope is mounted on a receiver mount mount like a SEI or ARMS. Then the rear of the RAS Rail was modified/notched to clear the bottom of the scope mount rail.
