Galvion Viper A5 ballistic helmet. The surface is kind of rough, that is to say not smooth. I have some pre-cut velcro to stick on it for the usual reasons.

Is there anything I need to do with either the surface of the helmet or the velcro itself, before sticking it on?
Don't confuse where I live with where I'm from.

Make sure it’s dry and stick em on.

I've always just used running alcohol to clean things off..m.let or dry, and stick on your Velcro..

I heat the velcro with a small heat gun. A hair dryer would probably work as well. This kinda activates more stickiness in the glue.

Rubbing alcohol works too - and you don't have to chase it down first.

I used alcohol wipe then jb welded Velcro on mine.

it hasn't moved.

I like to round corners on Velcro stick-on sheets to eliminate acute angles that like to unadhere, seperate, and curl up over time.
