I have a DSA Metric Type II receiver and an Imbel parts kits. Using DSA’s 10 round magazines results in failure to feed just by using charging handle.

I removed magazine and tried to push round with thumb and it binds on the feed lips.

I called DSA and they said that since the magazines were new the stamped metal needs the sharp corners and burs sanded with some light sand paper to smooth out the edges.

I did as they said and also applied some oil to the magazines and still have the same problem.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Are DSA magazines any good?

How do I resolve this problem?

Thanks,
Tony

I had to file the burrs off the rails on my factory DSA as well.

+1, you can try a new recoil spring and smoothing the rails up.  Lube the crap out of it and see what happens.

Also use lapping compound in the rails, to work them in together.

Clean with brakleen, then use moly grease.
